Below are some of our frequently asked questions and facts.  If you don't find the answers you are looking for and/or have another question, feel free to contact us.

Do you fund bankrolls / stake players for live cash games?

YES, we mainly fund bankrolls for live cash games and some live tournaments, including Main Events for the WSOP, WPT and EPT.

Do you fund bankrolls / stake players for online poker?

NO, we do not fund bankrolls for online poker.

Do you fund bankrolls for amateur & intermediate poker players?

YES, we do fund bankrolls for amateur & intermediate players, all the way up to poker pros.

What is the average starter bankroll amount funded to amateur / intermediate players?

$25,000 to $50,000

What is the average starter bankroll amount funded to advanced / pro players?

$100,000 to $500,000

What is the minimum age requirement to be bankroll funded?

21 years of age is the minimum for players in the United States and 18 years of age in other countries.

Do you fund bankrolls for players in the United States?

YES, we currently focus on bankroll funding for U.S. poker players.

What other countries would you fund poker player's bankroll?

Currently, we can fund players that play poker in Canada, United Kingdom (UK), Germany, France, Australia, Italy, Spain, Macau (China), Monaco and the Bahamas.

Which U.S. cities do you cover for your live cash games and tournaments?

We mainly cover Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Atlantic City, Connecticut and Hollywood Florida for our live cash games and tournaments.

What percentage do you fund cash games VS tourney bankrolls?

We mainly fund 85% live cash games VS 15% live tourneys.  We focus on live cash games.

Do I need to be a Pro to be bankroll funded?

NO, we fund players at different skill levels from amateur, intermediate, advanced, semi-pro and pro players.

If I only play live cash games and do not play online poker, can I still have my bankroll funded?

YES, players who only play live cash games can still be bankroll funded.  Those players may have to go through our 5 Day - Poker Academy, to be bankroll approved.

As a Poker Approved member, am I guaranteed to be bankroll funded?

NO, being a Poker Approved member does not guarantee a player to be bankroll funded.

How will I know if my bankroll was approved?

Our poker analysts will be in contact with you immediately, once your bankroll has been approved.

Can I have my bankroll application re-evaluated for a 2nd opinion, if denied bankroll funding.

NO, all decisions for bankroll funding by our poker analysts, are final.

Do I have to be a Poker Approved member to be reviewed by your poker analysts for bankroll funding?

YES, all poker players that wish to be reviewed / considered for bankroll funding, must be Poker Approved members by filling out our brief Bankroll Application form.

What other benefits do Poker Approved members / funded players, receive?

Top bankroll funded players can also receive our Player Rewards benefits including: fully-paid mansion accommodations, complimentary car, food allowance and full-staff including maid(s) and a chef.

Do funded poker players receive a pension plan?

YES, all funded poker players that accumulate positive earnings in live cash games, do receive a fully paid pension plan.  Players must earn a minimum $1,000 in Poker Approved earnings to qualify.

When can players start withdrawing their pension plans?

Our funded poker players (who have accumulated pension monies) can start receiving pension payments after only 365 days of playing their first funded bankroll with Poker Approved.

How much are the monthly pension amounts, payable to poker players?

After 365 days, players are able to withdraw 2% of their pension plan, monthly.  Additional fees may apply to players who withdraw more than 2% of the monthly allowance.

As an approved bankroll funded poker player, will I have to report to someone?

YES, as an approved bankroll player you will be assigned a poker Field Supervisor and also a Player Bankroll Coordinator.  Your Field Supervisor (FS) will always be with you, to play at live cash games. Your FS manages all aspects of your live cash games, live tourneys and also your poker bankroll.

What is your Poker Approved 5 Day (PASS) Poker Academy?

Our Poker Approved P.A.S.S. Poker Academy consists of a 5 Day program of Poker Abilities & Strategic Skills (PASS) testing for poker players.  Poker players at PASS Academy are tested and evaluated in their poker playing skills against other poker professionals.  This program is only required for poker players that we are considering bankroll funding, but however lack the poker tracking experience (online or live) necessary for our poker analysts to approve their bankroll.  This is a 5 Day (approx. 20 Hours) in-person program in Las Vegas, that is FREE of CHARGE, for any poker player that is being considered for bankroll funding by Poker Approved.

Do you disclose which poker players you bankroll funded?

For the integrity of the game and in fairness of play for all poker players, we do not disclose which poker players we fund or sponsor.  It is our company policy to keep all Poker Approved members private and their poker bankroll status private.  We do not make any public announcements via press releases, commercial endorsements or any other public medium regarding members of PokerApproved.com.  Players may wish to announce themselves as a member of Poker Approved, on their own initiative, if so choosing.  At Poker Approved, we adhere to a strict privacy policy for all of our players.
