The Second Largest WSOP Main Event in 41 years

It's no surprise that the WSOP attracts some of the best and the largest field of poker players in the business today, but 2010 marks the second largest attendance in poker players, since it's inception 41 years ago.  July 5th 2010 marked the 41st annual WSOP Main Event at the Rio Suites Hotel in Las Vegas, with a field of 7,319 players and grand prize pool of $68,798,600 ...with an impressive $8,944,138 going to the 1st place ranked player.  (Only the 2006 WSOP Main Event drew more players with 8,773 players and with a massive prize pool of $82,512,162)
